Trade advocacy
Representing the shared interests of dry fruits and dates merchants before public authorities and industry bodies.
What we do
MDDMA's work sits where member needs, public policy, market relationships and long-term industry development meet.
Twelve areas of work
Some needs require representation, some require information and others require the trust of a recognised member community. MDDMA brings them together.
Representing the shared interests of dry fruits and dates merchants before public authorities and industry bodies.
Maintaining constructive engagement with APMC, FSSAI, Customs and other policy institutions.
Helping members understand notifications, rules and compliance changes that affect everyday trade.
Raising sector concerns relating to customs, imports, origin markets and administrative procedures.
Encouraging fair practice, mutual understanding and structured settlement of member trade disputes.
Building confidence in the market through an Association-governed community of recognised firms.
Publishing relevant notices, updates and trade information in a dependable, searchable format.
Creating opportunities for members to discover peers, suppliers, buyers, brokers and partners.
Supporting seminars, expert sessions and practical learning that strengthen member businesses.
Encouraging research, category growth and responsible expansion of the dry fruits and dates trade.
Developing dialogue with origin markets, overseas trade bodies and promotional organisations.
Advancing consumer awareness, healthy consumption and the long-term reputation of the category.
How support works
Public information, Association background and membership guidance are available on this website. Member-specific discovery, circulars, market activity and account services live on GBAUG.
Matters requiring representation, committee attention or grievance handling should be raised through the Association office so they can be recorded and directed appropriately.
