1. Scope
The Mumbai Dry Fruits & Dates Merchants Association ("MDDMA", "we", "our") operates this website to provide public information about the Association, its work, leadership, membership and contact channels.
2. Information we may receive
We may receive information when you contact the Association by telephone or email, including:
- Your name, firm, role and contact details.
- The content of your enquiry, grievance or request.
- Basic technical and aggregate usage information used to maintain and improve the website.
This public website does not collect member KYC documents or run member accounts. Those functions belong to GBAUG.
3. How we use information
- To answer enquiries and direct them to the appropriate Association representative.
- To process grievances, privacy requests and membership-related communication.
- To secure, operate and understand the performance of the website.
- To meet record-keeping and legal obligations applicable to the Association.
5. Retention and security
We retain correspondence and related records only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which they were received, Association administration, dispute handling or applicable legal requirements. We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and contact
You may ask about personal information connected with your enquiry, request a correction or raise a privacy concern by emailing grievance@mddma.org. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
